About Advanced Learn To Swim Class
The Pat Taylor Advanced Learn To Swim Class is designed for children ready to take their swimming to the next level.
They will already be confident moving in the water without any flotation aids. The next step is to convert your child’s dog paddle into a freestyle stroke.
Some of the drills include swimming greater distances to the instructor and back without support. With the introduction of the freestyle stroke we will focus on the correct breathing technique. Other areas of focus in this class will be on basic backstroke and dives. Your child will also learn to gradually go into the deep end with confidence.
As with all Pat Taylor Swim School classes, water safety plays an important part of your child’s education.
Hydrotherapy Pools
Your child’s comfort and health are assured, with our hydrotherapy pools at Dee Why and Mona Vale heated to around 32°C. Similarly, warm showers are also available after the lesson.

Tuition
Advanced Learn To Swim Class costs $250 per term (10 x 30 minute lessons)
Private lessons: $800 per term

Make-up Lessons
Make-up lessons are offered if a lesson is missed due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, depending on availability. Should you need to arrange a make-up lesson, please contact us on 02 9977 6125.
