Mini Squad Swimming Lessons
Age Group: School-age children
Suitability: Children who are strong swimmers with refined techniques in freestyle and backstroke
About Mini Squad Class
Mini Squad is your child’s introduction to competitive swimming, and is the final stage in your child’s swimming development.
Running for 45 minutes, we follow a full schedule of advanced drills. All strokes will be swum for multiple laps. In addition, your child will learn racing dives and tumble turns.
For fun, your child will compete in knock-out races against their fellow squad members at the end of the lesson.
With our Mini Squad, your child will be preparing to transition to the next level, should they choose to continue advancing their swimming, to bronze junior squad in a 50m pool. This class will also instill confidence in your child to compete in school and zone swimming carnivals.
Hydrotherapy Pools
Your child’s comfort and health are assured, with our hydrotherapy pools at Dee Why and Mona Vale heated to around 32°C. Similarly, warm showers are also available after the lesson.
Locations
Pat Taylor Swim School offers our Mini Squad exclusively at our Mona Vale pool.
Tuition
Mini Squad costs $300 per term (10 x 45 minute lessons)
Active Kids Voucher
Your yearly $100 NSW Government Active Kids Voucher is available to redeem at Pat Taylor Swim School. If you haven’t already applied for your voucher, click here.
Make-up Lessons
Make-up lessons are offered if a lesson is missed due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, depending on availability. Should you need to arrange a make-up lesson, please contact us on 02 9977 6125.
